BLEPHAROPLASTY

LIFT YOUR SAGGY SKIN

Blepharoplasty revitalizes the eye area, banishing the appearance of weary, heavy lids and restoring a youthful, refreshed gaze. The procedure effectively eliminates drooping upper eyelids and diminishes the puffiness often associated with tired-looking lower lids.

WHAT IS BLEPHAROPLASTY?

Blepharoplasty, also known as upper or lower eyelid surgery, helps patients who have puffy, droopy eyelids or deep, bulging bags under the eyes by removing the excess fat, skin, and tissue. Eyelid surgery can help patients who appear tired from sagging eyelids or sad from under eye bags, a common problem in adults over 35 years old in America.

This can help patients regain a youthful, more alert appearance with eyelid surgery, sometimes called an eyelid tuck. For some patients, having the excess skin from the upper eyelids can help some patients improve their field of vision in addition to their overall refreshed appearance.

Blepharoplasty addresses sagging skin and excess fat, creating creases, folds, and wrinkles on and around the upper eyelid. The redundant skin is removed, and fatty tissue is repositioned to achieve a younger, more rested appearance. In cases where the excess skin is significant enough to obstruct sight, an upper eyelid lift can even improve vision.

HOW DOES PDO THREAD LIFT WORK?

Once PDO threads are inserted it can produce four effects:

·  Immediate skin lifting

·  New collagen production

· Removes fine lines

·  Skin tightening

The threads are dissolved. Due to cellular rejuvenation and collagen stimulation the lifting effects are seen immediately but the full result isn’t considered complete until 6-8 weeks after the treatment.

The threads contract the fat in the skin and enhance the production of new blood vessels and collagen to promote microcirculation.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR PDO THREADS?

The ideal candidate for PDO (Polydioxanone) threads is someone who has mild to moderate facial sagging, skin laxity, or wrinkles and desires a non-surgical and minimally invasive solution for facial rejuvenation.

As with any cosmetic procedure, results may vary, and a consultation with an experienced healthcare professional is essential to determine if PDO threads are the right option for any individuals aesthetic goals.
